Dave Schreck is vice president and general manager of Airborne Solutions for Rockwell Collins Government Systems. In this position, Schreck is responsible for the company’s Airborne Solutions business, which delivers avionics and flight deck solutions for fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. The business executes programs for a wide variety of
platforms performing mission roles including fighter, bomber, trainer, cargo transport, refueling tankers and a variety of special mission roles. The organization also includes the company’s unmanned airborne systems business. He was named to this position in September 2016.
Previously, Schreck was the vice president, Strategy and M&A for Rockwell Collins International & Service Solutions. In this role, Schreck provided leadership for defining strategic direction for the company’s international business.
Since joining Rockwell Collins in 2006, he has held various leadership positions. These include director, UAS and Control Technologies, director of Strategic Planning for Government Systems and programs manager for Precision Weapons.
Prior to Rockwell Collins, Schreck served in the U.S. Air Force and held a variety of positions in the C4ISR arena, culminating in his last two jobs as the director of Communications and Information for Air Force Space Command and Air Education and Training Command. Schreck also commanded units at the squadron and group level and held a variety of staff positions at the Air Force and joint staff levels, including the White House Communications Agency. Schreck retired as a colonel after 22 years of service.
