Dave Haddick has been a serial entrepreneur for over 30 years, mainly in the field of medical imaging and computerized diagnostics for physicians. Haddick is an expert in the development of the computer/physician diagnostic interface. He produced a number of patented film recorders for ultrasound, nuclear medicine, digital radiology,
computerized tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MR). His patented technology assured the diagnostic quality of electronic image reproduction onto X-ray film. His patents were licensed to Fuji Medical Systems and Agfa-Gevaert.
He served as the chairman of the joint committee of the Radiological Society of North America Society (RSNA) and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) that developed calibration standards for devices displaying diagnostic-quality digital-radiology images. This work on imaging standards enabled the widespread adoption of digital radiology and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communications Systems). Recently he was a founder and CEO of KDH Systems. KDH's products are designed to address one of the most critical problems of clinical research and new drug development: delays and failures of research studies due to inadequate patient enrollment. Their product, PatientLocate, finds patients for clinical trials at the point-of-care by matching near-real-time patient data with the specific inclusion and exclusion criteria of clinical trials and studies.
He earned his BSEE from the University of California, Berkeley in 1967.
