Dave is President of Parker, Smith & Feek and thus has ultimate responsibility for our client and team experiences. Dave’s leadership journey in Parker, Smith & Feek began in 1993 when he joined Parker, Smith & Feek’s Anchorage office as an account executive primarily focused on the needs of many of Alaska’s premier construction
contractors. He led our Alaska office through significant growth from 2008-to 2016. In his current role as President, he leads our six offices in four states from our Bellevue headquarters. Before joining Parker, Smith & Feek, Dave served as a lead workers’ compensation underwriter and premium auditor, and this technical background has proven invaluable for not only our construction clients, but also for those in the manufacturing, social services, healthcare, and service contracting industries. Dave continues to provide technical consulting to Parker, Smith & Feek’s clients. Dave sits on the Board of Parker, Smith & Feek’s parent company, IMA Financial Group, one of the largest employee-owned and managed insurance brokerage firms in the U.S. He holds the Associate in Premium Audit (APA), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations. He has been actively involved in many industry and trade associations, including Vistage International, AGC, Associated Builders and Contractors, Construction Financial Management Association, the Alaska Forest Association, and the NCCI Alaska Review and Advisory Committee for Workers’ Compensation. Dave graduated from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota, with a B.S. in business administration.
