David Bartlett, Vice President of Land Entitlement for Brookfield Residential Southern California, is the man who quite simply, makes Brookfield’s inviting neighborhoods possible. After 18 years as a planning consultant to land developers, property owners, public agencies, and homebuilders, Dave joined Brookfield Residential Southern California
because he wanted to share in the genuine camaraderie that comes with the creation of new communities and homes that are truly unique. Through his friendly, yet persuasive negotiation skills, Dave is exceptional at securing local, state and federal permits for Brookfield, using his role as a political and government liaison to ensure Brookfield’s entitlement plans are legally bound. During the entitlement process, Dave frames Brookfield’s future communities within the context of existing policy so decision makers can see the entire picture of the formation of the community and it’s consistency with public policy and local goals and objectives.
Dave’s devotion to being a part of these inviting home communities stems from his own life, where his wife and three children live in a Brookfield neighborhood and home and know the value of a welcoming home life. After competing in a triathlon or a hiking adventure to the Grand Canyon, home is a haven of familiar comfort. Home to Dave is a place where memories are being made and futures are built.
