Dr. Dekel is a seasoned executive with over 15 years experience in materials science membrane technology and electrochemistry.
Prior to co-founding CellEra, he was general manager of Rafael’s thermal battery plant, where he led a 100-member R&D and fabrication team. At Rafael, he was also responsible for multi-million dollar projects and
sales with Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, and the United States Army, among others.
He holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering and an MBA from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
Dr. Dekel is the author of six granted and pending battery technology-related patents.
