My experience covers a wide spectrum of roles and technologies in the software and systems engineering industries that gives me a full visibility of all development and deployment life cycle phases for the delivery and maintenance of mobile apps and medium sized turnkey computer and network based client/server systems (projects with average duration of 3 years, worth up to £5 million).

I spent five years sharpening my management and analysis skills, performing with enthusiasm and problem solving attitude activities such as planning, defining and optimising teams’ workflows, supervising different teams, recruiting and mentoring new staff, delivering multiple projects (mostly) on time and on budget, nurturing synergetic relationships with customers and partners with the ultimate purpose of digitise paper based workflows.

I spent 3 fantastic years in Japan where I worked for a media and video games company for which I developed several locally successful Android apps and games enjoying the opportunity to refresh and strengthen my technical and coding skills.

On the technical side, although I consider myself a “technology agnostic”, as my strong technical background generally allows me to deal with systems I am not familiar with, my strengths are: a genuine passion for mobile apps and games development for Android devices in Java and iOS devices in React Native, an in-depth DBMS knowledge, especially of Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and Firebase platforms, combined with my natural curiosity and inclination for data manipulation (ETL), knowledge extraction and Database Administration and optimisation and an obsession for Operating Systems configuration and optimisation using either virtual or physical infrastructures.
