Danielle is passionate about cracking the lines that block exchange of innovation and ideas between sectors. Her grand vision is for every organization to operate with both social responsibility and financial sustainability joined at its core.
Danielle graduated from Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, with a Bachelor’s of
Business Administration. She later pursued a Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship under the guidance of Skoll Fellow, Martin Burt, and is currently improving her coaching skills through ICF approved training. Her professional experience has taken her from entrepreneurial small business through to corporate finance with an international bank.
Danielle is founder and CEO of theSedge.org, the global community where social innovators connect to collaborate and build capacity in social enterprise. She also supports gender equality and advancement of women in entrepreneurship as a Principal of FEW (Female Entrepreneurs of the World).
Danielle’s unique cross-sector perspective and passion for innovation drives theSedge.org to be the place where the social sector grows entrepreneurial spirit and social enterprise capacity.
