Daniel Werner is the Controller at Greenwood Hall since February 2015. Daniel oversees all accounting functions including working with Greenwood Hall’s outside accountants on SEC filings of 10-Q and 10-K financials.
Daniel has more than 17 years of financial management experience, including serving as the Business Manager of the LA Weekly &
OC Weekly, where he was responsible for the daily operations and financial performance for the largest weekly alternative newspaper in the United States.
Prior to the publication business Daniel served as Cash Management / Assistant Controller at Public Storage managing more than fifteen hundred properties whereby maximizing cash flows, increasing operational efficiency, and instituting effective management policies.
Daniel was born and raised in Houston, Texas and attended Sam Houston State University and went on to receive a BBA degree in Accounting. Daniel moved to Los Angeles in 1987 and passed the CPA exam in 1989.
Daniel is a fitness enthusiast including cycling.
