Mr. Daniel C. Ustian served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Navistar International Corporation (NYSE: NAV) (“Navistar”). Since he became Chief Executive Officer in 2003 and Chairman in 2004, Navistar established its rapidly expanding military business. Before being named Chief Executive Officer, he served as President and
Chief Operating Officer starting in 2002, overseeing the company's truck and engine operations and participating in the development of the company's future strategic direction. Mr. Ustian serves as Director of Cool Technologies, Inc. since August 19, 2015 and also serves as member of its advisory board since September 10, 2014. He served as President of Navistar's engine group from 1999 to 2002 and group Vice President and General Manager of engine and foundry from 1990 to 1999. He joined the company in 1973 and held a number of manufacturing and financial positions in its agricultural and truck groups. He was Vice President of manufacturing for the engine and foundry group before he was named to head the group in 1993. He is a Member of the Business Roundtable, the Society of Automotive Engineers, the American Foundry Association and the Executives' Club of Chicago. He was born June 30, 1950, in Chicago and received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Chicago's DePaul University in 1972. He is a Member of DePaul's Board of Trustees, as well as the Business Council. He also is a Member of the Business Roundtable, the Business Council, in addition he is a Member of the AGCO Board of Directors.
