Daniel joined Qumra Capital from Benchmark Capital Israel where he served as Operating Partner and CFO since the initiation of the fund activities in Israel in 2001. At Benchmark, Daniel was responsible for the investment operations of two Israel-dedicated funds ($500M) and other operational, legal, and financial aspects of the firm.
Prior to
Benchmark, Daniel was Director of Finance at several 3Com Corp. Divisions, responsible for the cash management, financial planning, reporting and control of the Divisions. In this role Daniel provided business support to senior management teams during all stages of business development and growth.
Before joining 3Com, Daniel was the CFO and Senior VP of ICTS Holland BV, a leading international aviation security company. He established the worldwide headquarters of ICTS in Paris, France, and 25 subsidiaries around the world, and led the planning and implementation of a worldwide tax and operational infrastructure for a fast-growing international services company. Daniel also led M&A negotiations and due diligence processes with companies in the US and Europe.
He is a Certified Public Accountant (Israel and Argentina). He teaches Innovation Financing and Financial Management to first time entrepreneurs, and he is a certified yacht skipper and martial arts practitioner.
