Daniel joined LDC in 2008 from Hemisphere Capital, where he was a co-founder and Managing Partner. He has over 17 years of private equity experience; prior to LDC, he held senior investment roles at the Private Equity Division of Credit Suisse First Boston and SOFTBANK Inc. Daniel has invested across a broad range of transactions and sectors, from
early stage growth capital to large leveraged buy-outs. Representative exits include ESAT Telecom (Irish mobile operator listed on NASDAQ), the ComplEATFood Group(UK premium food category manager) and Gala Coral Group (UK diversified gambling company).
Raised in the US, Daniel has a law degree from Stanford University and an undergraduate degree from Cornell University. He sits on the boards of several portfolio companies, including Easynet, Fever-Tree, UK2 and Ocean Outdoor.
