Daniel John Fitzgerald is a masters student at the MIT Media Lab. As a research assistant in the Tangible Media Group led by Professor Hiroshi Ishi, he worked on tangible human-computer interfaces and related areas of robotics, artificial intelligence, human-robot interaction, dynamic/programmable materials, and device fabrication.
Daniel
received his Bachelors degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI, 2015) in Robotics Engineering and Computer Science (double major) with a minor in Physics.
He also have extensive experience in cutting-edge 3D printing (additive manufacturing) systems and robotic fabrication processes. As he become a research engineer intern in the Lewis Research Group at the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (2013/14), I led the implementation of automated systems for 3D printing conductive circuits and microfluidic systems in-situ (pending publication) and developed software design frameworks for these novel additive manufacturing techniques.
