He's the chairman of Community Veterinary Partners. He also served as president of Community Veterinary Partners from 2009 through 2014. Daniel is a managing director at Calico Real Estate and a director at Calico Financial. He is also managing director at Calico Group.
Before co-founding MDM, he was managing director of private equity at
CMS Companies. At CMS, which he joined in 2003, Daniel was a member of the firm’s investment and management committees. He also was a manager of the CMS Small-Cap Private Equity Fund, which made buyout investments in small companies. He has led investments into companies that focus on education, health care services, manufacturing services, food and beverage manufacturing and others.
Before joining CMS, Daniel was the founding executive director of the Auschwitz Jewish Center. Prior to that he was a corporate lawyer at Fulbright and Jaworski, L.L.P., where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and securities.
