As Manager of High Yield Municipal Evaluations for Thomson Reuters Pricing Service, Dan is responsible for a group of Evaluators and Credit Analysts who help price over 1.1 million Municipal securities on a daily basis. His team focuses on evaluating all bonds that are non-rated or rated below investment grade, as well as all distressed and
defaulted bonds. Prior to entering the evaluated pricing business in 2015, Dan spent 10 years on the buy side with Tiptree Financial, Tricadia Capital, and Cohen & Company. In his role as a High Yield Muni Analyst and Portfolio Manager, Dan focused on private placements in the healthcare, education, and project finance sectors. He was part of a team to successfully build and manage a portfolio of nearly $700 million high yield bonds, including the first tax-exempt municipal bond CDO, Non-Profit Preferred Funding.
Dan has a B.S. from the University at Albany, SUNY and is a member of the Municipal Analysts Group of New York.
