Daniels mantra is simple: Create valuable and great user experiences, regardless of domain, technology and device. If the users are happy, the business is happy! He is at his best when working in the borderlines between technology and business.
Daniels broad experience makes him well equipped to create great things, with quality in all bits and
pieces. He has been in several roles, including developer, scrum master, consultant, project manager and product owner. He has been part of developing all layers of a product, touching several platforms, desktop and mobile, web and native. He has worked in many domains, including public sector, maritime, events (ONS), energy/oil & gas. In Daniel's role as Product Owner in AVEVA, he was also part of making a product ready for market, including tight collaboration with marketing.
Communication skills have always been strong with Daniel. He quickly connects with people, and uses lots of humor in his daily work. He is great at networking, and loves to use social collaboration tools, such as Yammer, to connect across cities, countries and even continents. He loves to present, and takes great pride in creating good slide decks, without too much text and noise, and engage his audience. On a side note, his personal time-zone record is a multi-country Skype presentation stretching across nine time zones, from Rio (Brazil) to Hyderabad (India).
Daniel is known to get involved outside the project work. He has led both social committees and competency groups. He actually had the lead on interior design when AVEVA (50+ employees) moved into new offices at Golf Tower, Forus, Stavanger.
Daniel is currently CTO at Foodback.
