Dr. Udall has over two decades of experience providing direct care to individuals and groups in a variety of settings, including residential treatment centers, intensive outpatient programs, private practice, and university counseling centers. Prior to Ginger, Dana was the Director of Clinical Specialty Services at the University of Colorado, where
she oversaw the Alcohol and Other Drug, Behavioral Health, Eating Disorder Services, Transgender Care, and Assessment programs. She is a licensed Psychologist with a PhD from the University of Southern California and Pre- and Post-Doctoral training from the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to her extensive experience supervising multidisciplinary treatment teams, she has worked across settings to ensure clinical excellence, improve access to care and increase efficiency in service delivery models. Dr. Udall has also spent much of her career training others, including parents, educators, employee groups, and mental health professionals, and writing about a range of mental health topics for publications like Scripps Magazine, Eating Disorders Recovery Today, The Journal of Homosexuality and Psych Central, where she was a regular blogger. She’s also shared her expertise with news outlets like Self Magazine and Time.com. She was most recently the National Medical Director at Ginger before assuming the role of Chief Clinical Officer.
