Dan is a Founding Principal of SkyTop and oversees the firm’s portfolio management and trading functions. Prior to establishing SkyTop in 2010, Dan managed a special situations and opportunistic strategy at Loews Corporation with assets reaching $230 million. From 2002-2010, he was a member of a diverse team at Loews managing $40 billion in assets
and held a leadership role on a four-person distressed team managing over $1 billion in assets. Previously, from 1992-1996, he was a Supply Chain Manager at Wegmans Food Markets.
Dan received his MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania in 2002 and a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics from Cornell University in 1992, where he was a Division I wrestler.
