Dan Slomski is a Partner and Principal Systems Engineer for Prime Movers Lab. As a systems engineer, he performs in-depth due diligence into potential investments across areas including space, aviation, autonomy, communications, 3d printing, robotics, and computing. He also supports portfolio companies in analyzing and overcoming mission critical

technical design and execution challenges. Dan has designed patented systems for a range of applications including biotech, energy, consumer electronics, and materials. Dan previously served as a Systems Engineer for Gener8 designing, researching and prototyping electro-mechanical systems primarily for biotech applications. Prior to Gener8, as Lead Hardware Engineer at Tachyus, he invented a multi-phase flow fluid analyzer and built an elite team to design and field trial the device. In earlier consulting engagements, Dan created a machine vision camera solution, a rugged computer case, and numerous industrial art projects. He began his career at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where he developed an analyzer to perform compositional element analysis of drilled material. Dan earned his BS in physics from Penn State University.
