Dan’s favorite part of working in advertising is that epiphany moment of coming up with a brand-new idea. As a kinetic thinker, Dan’s best ideas come when he’s walking; he is inspired by finding beauty in normal, everyday things. Dan brings 18 years of marketing expertise to Northlich with a background in PR, direct marketing, general advertising
and digital/social media.
Dan launched the Long John Silver’s Facebook presence and created hardworking ad campaigns that bucked negative sales trends. He also led the global relaunch of Finlandia vodka, making it Brown-Forman’s number-two spirit behind Jack Daniel’s. These results were achieved not just through creative communications, but a deep understanding of how to differentiate products in a highly competitive marketplace. Closer to home, he led the head-to-toe overhaul of the Ohio Lottery’s massively popular website (over 1 million hits a day) and was instrumental in creating the brand’s mobile apps. In the world of healthcare, he relaunched Mercy Toledo and refreshed the Good Samaritan Hospital brand. He helped entrench Bethesda North Hospital as the suburban hospital with the experience and expertise to handle any medical situation.
