Dan Goodman is a dedicated entrepreneur with nearly 30 years of experience in the wood flooring industry. He owns and operates TCB Flooring Inc., which specializes in high-end wood flooring services. In addition to his expertise in flooring, he is a licensed home inspector, a security professional, and an avid fitness enthusiast.
Born in 1978 in
the Bronx, New York, Dan spent his early childhood there before relocating to Mt. Vernon, NY, at 10. In Mt. Vernon, he first developed a passion for sports, particularly football. His natural athletic ability made him well-known among his peers. However, over time, his interests shifted toward a different field—wood flooring. 1995 Dan was introduced to wood flooring, which became his career and lifelong passion.
While working in the wood flooring industry, Dan Goodman of Westchester, NY, attended Johnson and Wales University, where he studied hotel and restaurant management and culinary arts. In addition to his education, he also took on entrepreneurial ventures, including opening a gourmet deli named "Good to Go Delicacies." This venture gave him valuable experience in business management, customer relations, and the challenges of running a small operation.
After gaining experience in the wood flooring field, Daniel decided to pursue his passion full-time by founding TCB Flooring Inc. As the owner and operator, he ensures that each project is executed to the highest standards. The company offers wood floor installations, refinishing, and home renovations while focusing on quality and customer satisfaction. His dedication and meticulous approach have earned him a loyal client base.
In 2016, Dan further expanded his skill set by obtaining a security license, which led him to work as a bar bouncer and manager. These roles allowed him to enhance his skills in customer service, conflict resolution, and team management. In 2022, he passed the New York State exam to become a licensed home inspector, enabling him to offer his clients additional services.
As Goodman approaches his 30th year in the wood flooring industry, he continues to focus on his craft and giving back to his community. He supports several charitable organizations, including Saints Peter and Paul, Saint Ursula Church, and the Mount Sinai Health System.

He trains in boxing, martial arts, and MMA, keeping his physical and mental health in peak condition. He also participates in CrossFit, maintaining a high fitness level through rigorous training.
