Dan Estes is a 30 plus year telecommunications executive with extensive experience ranging from engineering to operations. He has served as the technology director for Cox Business since 2009 where under his leadership, the company grew from a $400M line of business to a more than $2B revenue stream today.
Dan’s current responsibilities include
overseeing Cox Business’ Sales Engineering team, directing a rapid response RFP team, and supporting the enterprise level custom design team. As well, he has responsibility for Cox Business’ Type II Order Management teams. Dan is a Professional Engineer licensed in the State of Alabama and has received numerous awards for innovation. He holds four patents spanning technologies from dense wave division multiplexing to test networks for voice services.
