Dale Sutherland

majority of his career leading up to his transition to ICM, Dale led a faithful career as a lead pastor and director of outreach at the McLean Bible Church, with attendance reaching upwards of 13,000 congregants. He managed a budget in the millions, oversaw volunteers, led missions trips, directed operations throughout six campuses and partnered with mission organizations, both national and international.

Throughout the entirety of his career, Dale Sutherland has remained invested in community involvement, whether it be with his church body or with global neighborhoods living under extreme levels of poverty. Upon graduating high school, Dale felt called into the ministry field, leading to him pursuing a degree in Bible and Biblical Studies. He began a successful career with McLean Bible Church as the Pastor of Student Ministries, increasing the weekly participation by hundreds. Through his involvement with this mega-church, he grew invested in growing the community in a variety of ways, whether it was through throwing events, leading missions trips, or brainstorming outreach projects.

Dale Sutherland came to this role with a profound experience in international missions, fundraising and volunteer management experience. He is eager to see the continual growth of this organization and is passionate about contributing to poverty alleviation. His professional career has intertwined seamlessly with his passion for living out the gospel, a goal he always felt called to pursue. Between his personal relationships with others and his contributions to international missions, Dale has, in many ways, modeled what it looks like to be a disciple.
