Daehee (pronounced “day-hee”) Park is a Korean-American entrepreneur and co-founder of Tuft & Needle. Founded in 2012, Tuft & Needle (TN.com) is the original direct-to-consumer mattress brand. The company sells mattresses, bedding and furniture through its website, Amazon, and branded retail stores. Bootstrapped with $6,000 of personal
savings, the digitally-native business grew rapidly to over $170 million in annual revenue within six years. In 2018, Tuft & Needle merged with Serta Simmons Bedding, the world's leading mattress manufacturer under the ownership of private equity firm Advent International.
Prior to Tuft & Needle, Daehee worked for several internet startups and as a marketing strategist for the ad tech company Acxiom.
Currently he spends his time mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs and advising growth stage companies.
Daehee earned his bachelor's degree in cybersecurity & risk analysis from Penn State University. He lives in Phoenix, Arizona.
