Cynthia Burnham Gray, Controller is a financial executive with 15 years of healthcare experience joining HNI in 2012. Previous roles have included serving as the CFO of the Valley Baptist Medical Center - Harlingen and then transition to a system role with the Health System.
She stayed through the final transition to Vanguard. Prior to working
with Valley Baptist, Cynthia has worked in financial executive and management roles with Community Health Systems, Wadley Health System, MedCath, and IWHS/CHRISTUS in Texas. Cynthia’s work with for-profit and not-for-profit organizations has enabled her to become adept at revenue cycle improvement strategies, supply chain management and cost saving techniques.
Cynthia holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Iowa. Cynthia is also Secretary of the South Texas Chapter of HFMA.
