His passion for innovative design and researching new technologies resulted in him starting Clave Media. The firm was later acquired by another San Diego agency.
Following his exit from marketing industry he founded BLOC a coworking facility in Solana Beach. An additional two locations were later opened in Encinitas and Carlsbad. BLOC was acquired
by Kiln in 2022.
While growing BLOC, Curtis became a general partner at FABRIC and developed a sizable portfolio of coastal assets. These assets are still actively managed by FABRIC.
