Cristian is CFO of Smedvig Capital, which he joined in 2007 from KPMG’s Operational Restructuring practice in London. He began his career with KPMG in the financial sector audit practice where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA). From there he joined the restructuring practice, where he focused on bank side financial advisory work as well
as working capital and cost management projects across multiple industry sectors.
Cristian has a degree in Business and German from Nottingham University and speaks fluent German having spent some time, in his early career, working with Siemens Business Services in Munich.
Cristian’s role at Smedvig Capital covers much of the Firm’s third party Private Equity investing as well as advisory projects on the direct investment side and internal structuring and compliance. He is currently a board member of PPC and LoveSpace, and has previously held a board role at Ocean Outdoor and Blink Point.
