That year, Esmark was the highest appreciating stock on both the NYSE and Nasdaq. Bouchard made headlines with the first reverse hostile tender merger in Wall Street history. At an annual meeting, he removed the board and management team of a Nasdaq company to open a new chapter.
Years of dedicated efforts in the business world led Bouchard to write a book co-authored with Dr. James V. Koch. The Caterpillar Way. Lessons in Leadership, Growth and Shareholder Value reached #1 on the Barnes & Noble Best Seller List. It also peaked at #8 on the New York Times Best Seller List in the business category.

A desire to revolutionize the world’s commercial truck fleet led Bouchard to establish his newest venture, Ecolution kWh. He and his team were granted patents for a promising pathway to net-zero carbon emissions for electric trailer trucks. They want to make electric trucks more functional and easier to operate while protecting the planet.
Craig Bouchard is leading the development of a floating electric grid with zero carbon emissions and no massive capital expenditure. This grid should replace unstable electric grids across the world, triggering the next industrial revolution. He wants to enable a green delivery of goods with lower costs and higher revenues. This inspired the creation of the Module Active Response System, known as MARS.
Making electric trucks viable in the long-term is a huge passion for Bouchard. He sees a sustainable competitive advantage in the intellectual property of Ecolution kWh for the next two decades. MARS supplies electricity to electric vehicles, increasing the range by approximately 50%. It presents the opportunity for quicker mobile recharging and battery swaps.
MARS is unique in that it delivers electricity not only to the truck but anything that’s plugged into it as well. Therefore MARS can supply energy to diesel and hydrogen trucks and trailers for greater energy generation and storage. That’s why Craig Bouchard is moving forward into the business of mass-producing carbon-free electricity. At scale, he believes Ecolution kWh can become the largest global power company with almost no capital expenditure.
Bouchard’s long-lasting success can be attributed to his commitment to working with a world-class team of fellow innovators and entrepreneurs. He has an insatiable determination to meet his goals and lead Ecolution kWh to new heights with net-zero carbon emissions.
Although his business endeavors and patent projects keep him busy, Bouchard makes time to make a difference in his community. What started as a hobby writing project transformed into one of the most popular children’s books in the world in 2014. The Adventures of Ai and accompanying video game was downloaded more than 200,000 times with Japanese, Spanish, Mandarin, and Arabic translations. The project supported 18 global charities, causes which are important to Bouchard, his wife Melissa Nelson Bouchard and their six children.
