Born in Houston, Texas, on October 30, 1995, he was nurtured by his parents, Melissa and Stephen Cornwell, and grew up alongside his two younger brothers, Collin and Cole. A significant life change occurred when they
relocated to Beaumont, Texas, to be closer to his paternal grandparents. This move exposed him to Texas's rich culture and values, molding him both personally and professionally.
Inspired by his passion for the outdoors and his entrepreneurial spirit, he created Big Tex Boat Rentals. As the owner, he manages all facets of the business, from daily operations to long-term strategy. The company, situated in Austin, provides a wide variety of premium boat services on Lake Travis and Lake Austin, offering diverse and unforgettable experiences to customers.
He embarked on his professional journey at the renowned United Bank of Switzerland, where he interned while studying at Texas State University. Aiming to follow in his father's footsteps as a financial advisor, he sought to build a strong foundation in the finance industry. However, the Covid-19 pandemic led to a shift in his career, driving him towards entrepreneurship.
He utilized his boating and water sports skills, taught by his father, and combined them with his academic business knowledge to establish Big Tex Boat Rentals with his family. Despite the challenges, this venture has completed three business years, with preparations underway for the fourth season.
His academic journey began at St. Anne's and Monsignor Kelly Catholic High Schools and progressed to Texas State University. He graduated with dual degrees in Finance and Management and a minor in Economics. His university experience was enriched by active participation in student government and the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity.
In addition to his professional and academic endeavors, he is committed to community service and philanthropy. He has volunteered and raised funds for various charities, including the Wounded Warrior Project, Bobcat Build, and Mobile Loaves & Fishes, and has actively participated in local community events.
His personal life reflects his love for music and outdoor activities. Introduced to water sports by his father at a young age, he remains an active outdoorsman, enjoying duck hunting and fishing activities. A fitness enthusiast, he maintains a rigorous exercise routine. His passion for music led him to co-found Lunar Events, a platform for local music events in Austin.
