Conor is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin where he studied Business studies and holds a Masters Degree in Japanese Commercial Policy from Senshu University in Japan. He joined NCB in 1995 and held the position of Head of Fixed Income until his appointment as Chief Executive of NCB Group in 1999.In 2003 he successfully negotiated and led a
management buy-out of the group from Ulster Bank/RBOS. Prior to joining NCB he held senior management positions in investment banking with BZW. He worked with BZW over an eleven-year period in London, Tokyo and New York. He is the former Chairman of the European Securities Network and is a Director of the Irish Stock Exchange.
