Colin joined Rolls-Royce in 1974. He has held a variety of key positions within the Company, including Director – Research and Technology and Director of Engineering and Technology – Civil Aerospace. Colin is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Royal Aeronautical Society and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. He is also a Member
of the Council for Science and Technology. In June 2012 he was awarded a CBE for services to UK engineering.
