Colin King launched CDJ Global Catalyst LLC in December 2008. Prior to forming CDJ, Colin spent 21 years at Goldman Sachs. Colin joined Goldman Sachs & Co. in 1987, and was most recently the Managing Director ofthe Markets Coverage Group. He started the Markets Coverage Group in 2001 to service a cross-asset-class, brokerage-based business
for hedge funds, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals. Beginning in 1991, Colin worked with the Mortgage and Asset Backed Securities Group as well as the Structured Products New Issues Group. He was promoted to Managing Director in 1998 heading Mortgage and ABS Syndicate. From 1989 to 1991, Colin worked as a Vice President in Goldman’s Capital Markets Group, handling Financial Institutions coverage. From 1987 to 1989, he handled Canadian Coverage. Prior to Goldman, Colin spent two years with Hill Samuel & Co. in their Special Products Group, structuring currency and interest rate swaps. Colin started his career with Chase Manhattan Bank working with their Credit Training Desk and taking part in their Canadian Corporate Coverage effort. Colin received his Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada in 1982.
