After 15 years as a verification engineer/manager and CAD manager, I joined the founding team of Verisity, where I was VP WW Sales and set up the local offices throughout Europe and Asia, and helped set up the offices in North America. When Verisity was acquired by Cadence I was managing a team of over 100 salespeople worldwide with annual
sales of over $100M. In the last 18 years, in Verisity and other companies, I gained a deep knowledge of the business culture in the different countries and now have many friends and business associates worldwide. This enabled me to start EDAcon, a company consulting to EDA and IP vendors which also has a worldwide network of representatives. EDA/IP vendors can outsource their sales activities to EDAcon knowing an experienced manager is driving their sales in the specified territories. Jasper Design Automation hired EDAcon's network in 2011 and I was the VP WW Sales helping double the sales in 3 years and enabling the sale of Jasper to Cadence. Since October 2017 I am the CEO of Weebit Nano (ASX:WBT) a semiconductor company developing ReRAM technology.
