Dr. Claudio Chamon is Professor of Physics at Boston University. He received a B.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and a Ph.D. in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Recently, he received the Sloan and Simons Fellowships, was a Visiting Fellow at Trinity College,
University of Cambridge, and was a Visiting Professor at ETH Zurich. He is an elected Fellow of the American Physical Society, has made important contributions to the fields of condensed matter physics, and has given invited talks at numerous conferences including two Nobel Symposia.
