Mr. Stetson is a Managing Director and co-founded PEI in 1992. Since co-founding PEI, Mr. Stetson has been involved in all aspects of the firm’s development and investment process. Currently, Mr. Stetson serves on the Advisory Board of SightLine Partners and is a Board Member of Apprion and Nuclea Biotechnologies, two PEI portfolio companies. He is
an industry pioneer of secondary purchases of both limited partnership interests and portfolios of direct holdings, having completed his first secondary transaction in 1978. Mr. Stetson was previously a Managing Director of Venture Capital Fund of America (“VCFA”), where he led the firm’s U.S. investment practice. Before joining VCFA, Mr. Stetson was President of Davis Skaggs Capital, a venture capital firm in San Francisco, and Vice President of Bache Halsey Stuart, an investment banking firm. Mr. Stetson received his B.A. from Yale University, an M.B.A. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business and an honorary L.L.B. from Concordia University – Portland.
