Chuck Robel is the former chairman of the board at McAfee and current board member at publicly held technology companies Informatica, Palo Alto Networks, Jive Software and Model N. Robel currently serves as the lead director of Informatica, the largest independent data integration company, and sits on the boards of Jive Software (IPO in 2011), Palo
Alto Networks (IPO in 2012) and Model N (IPO in 2013). In addition he serves on the board of privately held Go Daddy Group.
Robel served as Managing Member and Chief Operating Officer at Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, a venture capital fund, from June 2000 to December 2005.
Robel began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, from which he retired as a partner in June 2000, leading both their software and technology merger and acquisition groups during his tenure in Silicon Valley.
Robel served as the Chairman of the board of directors of McAfee from June 2006 to March 2011 prior to the sale of McAfee to Intel Corporation. Robel also served as a member of the board of directors of DemandTec, Inc., from September 2006 to February 2012 prior to the sale of DemandTec to IBM.
Robel holds a B.S. in Accounting from Arizona State University.
