Mr. Olson has nearly 30 years of biotechnology industry experience and a broad scientific and operational understanding of recombinant protein, plasma, virus and cell-based products. His expertise extends to all aspects of manufacturing operations, process development and regulatory submissions.
With a significant early portion of his career as
a Scientist at Genentech and Staff Scientist at Bayer, he has a scientific background specializing in process development and protein characterization.
Mr. Olson held management positions at NexBio, Anthera Pharmaceuticals, Coherus Biosciences, Cell Genesys, BioMarin and Onyx Pharmaceuticals.
Mr. Olson holds a B.A. in biology and chemistry from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA, an M.A. in chemistry from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a DSc in biochemistry from Hawthorne University.
