Mr. Charles Lewis is a co-founder and Vice Chairman of the Board of MyVest.
Mr. Lewis has over 30 years of experience in top banks and brokerage firms worldwide, in the design and development of large–scale investment management, trust, and custody systems. Today, trillions of dollars of securities owned by institutional and high net worth
investors are managed and processed using software designed by Mr. Lewis.
In 1984, Mr. Lewis co-founded Financial Technologies International (recently renamed GoldenSource), where he spent 15 years as Chairman and CEO. Over 100 of the world’s largest investment management and securities processing firms have licensed software and systems he designed – including Merrill Lynch, Franklin Templeton Funds, HSBC, and Deutsche Bank – just to mention a few. Mr. Lewis’ data model of the global investment industry, encompassing over 8,000 data fields describing virtually every type of security, transaction, and client, is widely regarded as the most comprehensive work of its kind. He was a co–founder and president of James Martin Associates, an IT consulting company that pioneered industry-wide changes to relational data model and automated development methodology.
Mr. Lewis earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration from the University of Texas, Austin.
