Christopher Norman is the Director of Programs for CyPhy Works Inc. Mr. Norman has broad experience in defense systems and robotics product development, working for 18 years in engineering and management roles.
As iRobot’s Director of Engineering, he grew the engineering organization from 30 engineers to over 100 engineers in two years while
developing designs for over $200M in product revenue.
As a Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager, he was responsible for executing $90M in defense programs and as a Capture Manager, he developed new business of $85M.
He was an Engineering Lead or Team Member on more than twenty robotic systems developments; robotic systems ranged from one-off, high-performance prototypes to robots that were produced in quantity thousands.
As a Chief Technology Officer in two startups, he was involved in all aspects of both profitable businesses developing sensors and robotics.
