Christian Bailey is the founder of the Center for Technology Advancement, which aims to magnify and accelerate the value of university research through Curated Innovation.
After graduating from Oxford University, Christian moved to the US as the founder and CEO of Akaru, one of the first SaaS companies, subsequently acquired by NewChannel. Since
then he has founded two more technology companies, leading one (media technology) through an exit and the other (biotech) through a strategic transaction with Bristol-Myers Squibb. He also completed a Fellowship at MIT where he studied molecular biology and materials science. During that time, he invested in spinouts from MIT and Harvard through incTANK Ventures, a vehicle for its partners’ own funds.
