Chris Smith is a partner and the director of consulting at The Circumference Group. Prior to founding The Circumference Group, Chris was Executive Vice President of Network Services of Alltel Corporation, the fifth largest wireless company in the U.S. Prior to its acquisition by Verizon in January 2009. Chris joined Alltel in 1991 and held a
variety of roles. As EVP of Network Services, Chris was responsible for all new technology evolutions, short- and long-term network planning, engineering, operations, capital budgeting and management, and wholesale roaming relationships.
Chris has also served as a Board member at Calient Technologies, Goodman Networks (proxy Member), Conterra , and American Traffic Solutions. Chris currently serves on two non-profit boards: The University of Arkansas at Little Rock – College of Business, and The CALL-serving foster and adoption families.
