Chris Jolly is the Managing Director and owner of Jolly Learning, the publishers of Jolly Phonics. He taught in Malaysia and had a background in consumer marketing before founding the company just over 25 years ago.
Since then he has seen the resurgence of phonics, with much of the definitive research having been done on Jolly Phonics, and
much of government policy being modelled on it. Today the programme is used in almost all countries in the world, and with pupils from every possible background.
