Chris has been with Eli Global for 5 years and is currently the head of the global M&A team, which consists of approximately 50 employees across six countries. Mr. Herwig is ultimately responsible for all aspects of the deal process including valuation, risk analysis, due diligence, and deal closing.
He serves as the CIO for Southland
National Insurance Company and is responsible for risk management and the execution of Southland's investment management strategy. This strategy includes open market purchases of stocks and bonds, as well as private debt placements.
Chris holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA, with honors, from the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School. He is also a CFA charter holder.
