Chris Eschbach serves as the Company’s Exercise Physiologist where he coordinates internal and external clinical trials, supervises and executes validation testing in the lab and field, as well as contributes to the research and development of new technology related to physiological biometrics as applied to exercise, medical and military
situations. Prior to joining Valencell, Chris founded the Human Performance Lab, LLC, a facility dedicated to providing physiological consulting for wellness and sports. He served as an Associate Professor at North Carolina Wesleyan College, focusing on research related to the validation of biometrics measured by sensors, range of motion, athletic performance.
Previously, he spent ten years at Meredith College as an Associate Professor and chaired the Department of Nutrition, Health and Human Performance. Dr. Eschbach has a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology and M.S. in Human Performance from University of Southern Mississippi and a B.S. in Zoology from Western Illinois University.
