Chris has 14 years of experience designing, developing and analyzing unconventional electromechanical systems, with the majority of that time focused on irreparable systems in ultra-hazardous environments. His facilities management experience has included a diverse range of projects from environmental remediation on the Presidio in San Francisco,
California, to explosive sighting analysis at the Kodiak Launch Complex in Kodiak, Alaska; and safety procedures on the floating Sea Launch platform which operates on the Equator just south of Hawaii, to game-day operations at the 80,000 seat Memorial Stadium at the University of California at Berkeley. Chris has lead multiple projects working towards LEED and Energy Star designations. Chris received his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and his Doctorate of Philosophy from the University of Glasgow in Glasgow, Scotland.
Chris is experienced in start-up management, serving on multiple non-profit and for-profit Boards in Des Moines.
