Chris Bowick is the president of Bowick Group, where he provides technology, product, business, and executive-development advice to clients in the cable television and telecommunications industries. He currently serves on the boards of directors of ViXS Systems and Bend Cable Communications and most recently joined the Advisory Board for Itaas,
Inc.
Bowick also served in an interim capacity as CTO of Charter Communications during Charter’s search for a permanent CTO. He retired from Cox Communications in June of 2009 as a senior vice president. Prior to joining Cox, Bowick served as group vice president for Jones Intercable, Inc. Prior to Jones, he also served as vice president of engineering for Scientific-Atlanta’s Transmission Systems Business Division, and as a design engineer for Rockwell International, Collins Avionics Division.
Bowick earned an MBA from the University of Colorado and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
