After being employed by BAE and Saab aircraft on the BAE 146 and Saab 340 sales teams, Chris joined the Salénia Group to manage their diverse fleet of regional aircraft working closely with Skyways and other airlines in the group. In 1996 Chris set up Skyways Aviation as a subsidiary of Salénia to gain market recognition and grow third party
activities. In 2009 Chris arranged a management buy out from Salénia and the company was renamed Skyworld Aviation, reflecting the extensive third party activity worldwide. During the last few years Skyworld has moved into the ATR and Embraer E-Jet markets thereby reinforcing its regional credentials.
