Charles Lam is the FinTech Lead at Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited and is responsible for formulating strategy, nurturing & supporting FinTech start-ups in Cyberport community to grow in terms of deal flow, valuation and business into mainland China and international markets. Besides, he also initiates and leads FinTech programs
to engage key stakeholders in FinTech ecosystem worldwide to join the Cyberport community. Charles Lam has served in senior positions in a number of financial organizations; namely senior management positions with Invesco and Ageas. Charles speaks at FinTech conferences, forums & foreign delegations; also be the judge to various FinTech regional competitions. In Nov 2017, Cyberport created the 80 pax FinTech delegation to London under the “UK-Hong Kong FinTech Bridge Agreement” & Charles Lam spearheaded this delegation with visitation of various key-stakeholders in London such as FCA, Level 39, Nast Vest Bank & many others for this fruitful exchange of investment & innovation. Needless to mention, Charles Lam promotes the FinTech community in Hong Kong to worldwide and also help young entrepreneurs with business plan workshops and mentorship.
