Charles brings more than 25 years of extensive technical and operations experience in electronics and software related industries.
Prior to Atieva, Charles founded PXI System Solutions, now a division of for Chroma ATE, and DynaColor, both companies that eventually went public on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
At DynaColor, Charles developed CRT
display test and aligning systems, growing the firm's global market share to over 60%.
Charles was also a senior executive at two other successful Silicon Valley startups, Wyse Technology and Network Computing Devices, where he helped lead both companies’ R&D efforts.
Charles received a BSEE from Cornell University and a MSEE from the University of California at Berkeley. He has 18 issued patents, 9 patents pending and has published 14 technical papers.
