Charles Capel began his career in banking in 1983 when he was signed as the first employee of Bank Data Centers, Inc. As Vice President of Operations, he helped build the company into a multi-bank service center.Charles Capel left Bank Data Centers in 1987 and joined Bank Services Corp. of Colorado Springs, Colorado to pursue bank software
development and became a principal of that company in 1993. It was during this time that he developed "PC BancPAC" that is now owned and marketed by Fidelity under the name "BancPac". BancPac is a core accounting system that currently processes several hundred banks in both in-house and service bureau environments.
