Chad Sakac is President of EMC’s Converged Platforms Division, VCE. EMC’s Converged Platform Division, VCE, focuses on delivering turnkey converged platforms (both infrastructure and solutions) for customers who are looking to simplify and accelerate their business by consuming technology stacks versus trying to assemble components. The division is comprised of two main elements. The first is the Converged Infrastructure business, which is the industry leader with solutions including Vblock, VxRack, and VxRail – turnkey infrastructure for every workload, every scale, and every vertical. The second is the Converged Solution business, which delivers turnkey solutions including the Enterprise Hybrid Cloud, Cloud Native Application stack, and Data Lake solutions – leveraging technology from across EMC, VMware and Pivotal. Sakac oversees all aspects of the business, including product development and management, finance, marketing and sales.
In addition to leading VCE, Sakac also leads the Global Systems Engineering team at EMC – the passionate technologists who interface with customers and partners and build the right, winning, end-to-end solutions. Prior to leading EMC’s Converged Platforms Division and the Global Systems Engineering teams at EMC, Sakac led the EMC VMware Alliance, go-to-market, and integration engineering team, and before that led the EMC Mid-Market Application Solutions Specialist team.
